Overview

DogRoutine is a dog care routine tracker. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how your data is handled.

Data Collection

DogRoutine does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to our servers. All data — including dog profiles, routines, photos, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

If you delete the app, your data is removed with it. There is no cloud backup and no account system.

Advertising (Free Tier)

The free version of DogRoutine displays banner ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

• Advertising identifier (IDFA, only if you allow App Tracking)
• Approximate location derived from your IP address
• Device type, operating system, language, and app version

This data is used by Google to serve relevant ads. You can disable personalized advertising from iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising, or limit tracking via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. For full details, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Premium subscribers see no ads, and no AdMob data is collected from them.

Subscriptions

Premium in-app purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous user identifier and entitlement status only — no personal information is shared.

You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime from iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Notifications

DogRoutine uses local notifications to remind you of upcoming routines. Notifications are scheduled entirely on your device. No notification content is sent to any server.

Photos

If you add a photo to your dog's profile, it is stored locally on your device only. Photos are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted.

Children's Privacy

DogRoutine is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
